I love that they give you a taste of the meat that you chose while they prepare your sandwich. You can't go wrong with a corned beef and mustard on rye. It's extremely crowded on weekends.
Worth the wait, the corn beef and pastrami Reuben is to die for.

U can't go wrong w/ the corned beef & cabbage here. The meat is the leanest corned beef I've seen. Comes w/ plenty of meat & cabbage w/ some carrots too, a peeled baked potato & a yummy dill sauce.
Eat tha corned beef and rye sammy, drink tha Murphys stout, high five tha Mayor & have a smashing time.

NO LONGER $19 deal but pricier $22 HH special 5-7pm: 1 cocktail + 1/2 sandwich (hot pastrami, hot brisket, corned beef, roast beef, or roasted turkey). Just wish Sours were comp'ed like downstairs.
This place is great. Low key speakeasy, with a Jewish twist! Menu has traditional Jewish foods, tapas style. Cocktails were great!
